Fining agent containing diatomaceous earth and alginates.

Used in Wine Making and Distillation
Especially effective when used after bentonite or activated charcoal fails to clear a wine. The best fining to remove activated charcoal residue from distilled fluids.  
 
Directions:
1 teaspoon per gallon or 3 teaspoons per 5 gallons in wine or shine. Add Sparkolloid™ to 1/2 cup boiling hot water and mix intermittantly for 5 minutes or until all the clumps are broken and the mix is creamy. Reheat during the process if necessary. Add to the wine while still warm and stir in gently. Takes 1-2 weeks to clear.
